Is Ziggu difficult to set up?
Not at all. Most teams customize their portal, invite the team, and launch a first project in under an hour.
If you’re using add-ons like Multi-Unit for property developers, we’ll schedule a short training session to guide you through it. Either way, our support team is just a click away - and yes, they’re real humans.
Does Ziggu work for small firms as well as large team?
Yes. Whether you're a one-person studio or running hundreds of projects, Ziggu scales to fit your workflow. You don’t need a big team - just a drive to give your clients the experience they deserve.
Do I need to install software?
No. Ziggu is cloud-based, so there’s nothing to install on your computer - just log in from your browser and start working. Prefer mobile? Our app is available for download, so your team and clients can stay connected on the go.

What exactly is a client portal?

No - it plays nicely with them. Ziggu integrates with your CRM, invoicing, and file storage tools so everything stays connected and nobody has to copy-paste things for the 5th time.
Can I set different access levels for clients and team members?
Yes. Access is project-based, so clients only see what’s shared within their own project. You decide what’s visible to clients, what stays internal, and what’s shared with external partners - so everyone stays aligned, without oversharing.
Is the client portal easy enough for clients who aren't technical?
Yes, and that is the design brief. Clients get one email with a link, one screen and no manual. There is nothing for them to install and nothing to configure. The learning curve sits with your team, not with your clients.
What if my clients never log in?
They still get the message. Every update, document and decision request also goes out by email in your branding, with a link straight back into the client portal. Clients who prefer email keep getting email. What changes is that the answer now lives in one place, so the next person who asks can look it up instead of asking you.
Can I put my own logo and colours on the client portal?
Yes. Your logo, your colours, and a branded app your clients can install on their phone. The emails and notifications they receive carry your brand too, so the whole thing reads as an extension of your company rather than as software you bought.
Can approvals made in the client portal be used as proof later?
Every decision is stored with who confirmed it and when. On top of that, every action by every user is logged, and that log is one record both you and your client can open. Neither side can quietly change it afterwards. It will not stop a disagreement from starting, but it ends one a lot faster.

How do I connect Ziggu to my website?
It’s simple. We give you a personalized link for your client portal. You - or your web developer - just add it as a button or menu item on your website. When clients click it, they’re redirected straight to your branded login page. No complex integration needed.

How much does Ziggu cost?

Do my clients need a licence or a paid account?
No. Inviting clients is free, however many you invite. Pricing is based on active projects, not on how many clients sit in them, so the cost does not move when a project has two clients or twenty. Full details on our pricing page.
Security & Support
How secure is my data?
Your data is encrypted server-side on Google Cloud, hosted in Belgium and backed up daily across two clouds, in at least two European locations. Access is set per project. Our own team cannot open your data unless you grant access from inside your own account. And every action by every user is logged, in a record you and your client can both consult.
Is Ziggu GDPR compliant?
Yes. Ziggu is fully GDPR compliant. We store all data securely within the EU, with geo-redundancy and server-side encryption by default. Your data is hosted primarily in Belgium (via Google Cloud), backed up across separate EU locations, and never accessed by our team unless you give explicit permission.
We also support your GDPR rights - like data deletion and portability - and provide full data exports if you ever decide to leave (but let’s hope not).
What if I need help?

What happens to our data if we stop using Ziggu?
You take it with you. When a contract ends you get a complete export of all your data and documents, in formats other systems can read. GDPR deletion and portability rights are honoured in full, and our own team cannot open your data unless you grant access from inside your account.
